Founded in the year 1940 in the heart of Melbourne’s Central Business District, William Angliss Institute provides a wide range of courses and specialist training for the tourism, hospitality, hotel management, event management and foods industries both within Australia and internationally. Today, the institute has offices across Australia including Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth and a strong presence in Asian countries including China, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Vietnam. 

The international student population comprises students from over 60 different nationalities. The institute houses more than 300 expert teachers and offers 21 industry placements, making it one of Australia's largest specialist centres.
