About University of East Anglia

Started in 1963 with just 87 students, the University of East Anglia is an internationally recognized university and houses over 15,000 students, including 3,500 international students from over 100 countries. Around 70 Malaysian students enroll at UEA every year.  UEA's has always placed importance on research-based learning to ensure that students benefit from hands-on learning. The students will learn from experienced lecturers and teachers who are leading the way in their fields. Moreover, the university has also partnered with INTO UAE for academic preparation courses and English language programmes designed for international students.
The university campus is located in an area of 320 acres and is just two miles away from the centre of Norwich, England's first UNESO City of Literature. The campus is renowned for its award-winning architecture. Located in Norwich (one of the safest cities), the campus is  1.5 hours by train to London The University campus has around 200 clubs and societies for international students. The university also houses a diverse range of cultural and country-specific societies to make the campus more inclusive and welcoming.

Law (Recognized in Malaysia)

This programme introduces students to the fundamentals of legal studies. This course covers a wide range of topics including Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Human Rights, Principles of Law and more.  Duration: 3 years Intake: 2021


BSc Psychology with a Placement Year
This programme includes an introduction to psychology with a focus on social and developmental psychology, cognitive and biological psychology. This course also trains students to develop their research capabilities and competence.  Duration: 4 years Intake: 2021


BSc Biological Sciences (with a Year in Industry)
Accredited by the Royal Society of Biology, this degree spans the entire scale of biological systems – from molecules to ecosystems. Students will spend their third year working in industry. They’ll be able to undertake a placement that could cover any aspect from across the field of biology. Duration: 4 years Intake: 2021


BSc Pharmacology and Drug Discovery
The course brings together scientific disciplines - biology, chemistry and physical sciences – around the context of disease and medicines. Within integrated modules, students will learn about the major diseases and the science behind the drugs used to treat them. Duration: 3 years Intake: 2021


BSc Economics with a Placement Year
This course will explore all areas of the economy, from microeconomic and macroeconomic perspectives. Students will also learn quantitative methods, economic modeling techniques, and how to collect and analyze data. Students will spend 9-12 months of their third year in a full-time placement, gaining invaluable working experience and employability skills in a relevant area of their choice. Duration: 4 years Intake: 2021

Actuarial Science

BSc Actuarial Science
This course will teach students how to look to the future from a business perspective, assess any likely impact, then put a price on mitigating any risk. Students will also get the opportunity to gain exemptions from the professional examinations set by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries Duration: 3 years Intake: 2021

Data Science

MSc Data Science
Students will get to explore the methodologies of Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (KDD). They will be introduced to applied statistics, database manipulation and more. Duration: 1 year Intake: 2021
